For some time, J&J® has used Avetta® as their preferred vetting partner, requiring all suppliers and contractors to become Avetta® certified before the contract. Here’s the big news, J&J® has now decided to switch from Avetta® to ISNetworld®.  

 

When will J & J® contractors need ISNetworld®?

Contractors and suppliers are beginning the switch now. However, this post did not relay an official date for the required transition.   

 

What is ISNetworld®?

ISNetworld® is one of the most popular online platforms companies use to manage contractor and supplier information. It is commonly utilized in industries like oil and gas, construction, and manufacturing to assess whether contractors and suppliers meet health, safety, and environmental standards before hiring. 

 

There are many companies like ISNetworld®, such as Avetta®, Veriforce®, Vero®, Ariba® and Gatefeed®.

 

ISNetworld® Membership Benefits

Over 700 hiring clients use ISNetworld® to verify their contractors and suppliers. To become certified or approved in ISNetworld®, contractors typically need to follow these 5 steps:

 

5 Steps to become ISN Compliant:

 

1) Register: Contractors must create an account on the ISNetworld® website.

Provide Company Information: Detailed company information, including contact details, services offered, and operating locations, must be provided.

 

2) Submit Compliance Documentation: Contractors must submit various compliance documents, such as safety programs, insurance certificates, training records, incident history, and OSHA logs. These documents demonstrate adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

 

3) Complete Questionnaire: Contractors must complete a questionnaire about their company’s health, safety, and environmental practices. The questionnaire helps assess compliance with industry standards.

 

4) Verification and Review: ISNetworld® reviews the submitted documentation and information to ensure it meets the required standards. Additional audits or information requests may be made for confirmation.

 

5) Certification: Once the contractor’s information is verified and compliant, they receive a certificate in ISNetworld®. This certification indicates that the contractor meets health, safety, and environmental requirements.
