SDGE® Preferred Veriforce® Contractor
SDGE® (San Diego Gas & Electric) is a utility company that provides gas and electricity services in San Diego and southern Orange counties in California. To work as a contractor for SDGE®, several requirements must be met:
1. Contractor pre-qualification: Contractors must go through the pre-qualification process to become eligible to work for SDGE®. This process includes providing certain documents, such as business licenses, insurance policies, and safety records, through an online platform (Veriforce® Compliance Pro®)
2. Safety training: Contractors must complete safety training specific to the work they will perform for SDGE®. The training includes courses on electrical safety, gas safety, and job-specific safety protocols.
3. Compliance with SDGE®’s safety policies and procedures: Contractors must comply with all safety policies and procedures established by SDGE®, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols.
