Navigating Valvoline’s Transition to ISNetworld: What Contractors Need to Know

Table of Contents

Valvoline oil change building.

Valvoline Global Operations has recently announced a major shift in its contractor management process by implementing ISNetworld (ISN) as its new compliance platform. Effective March 3, 2025, Valvoline will no longer be using Avetta for contractor compliance, per a letter delivered to preferred Valvoline contractors. This change means that contractors performing high-risk on-site services must become ISNetworld subscribers to maintain their eligibility to work with Valvoline.

Key Requirements for Valvoline Contractors

Contractors new to ISNetworld will need to set up an account, which requires an annual subscription fee. While this may seem like an added expense, Valvoline believes the long-term benefits will outweigh the cost. For those already subscribed to ISNetworld, there is no additional fee, but specific requirements must be completed within the system:

  • Company Profile
  • Questionnaires (Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG))
  • HSE Programs – Desktop Review & Implementation Assessment
  • Document Submittal (Insurance, OSHA Forms, and Experience Modifier Rate (EMR))

Valvoline contractors must have their ISNetworld subscription in place by April 30, 2025, and all required data must be submitted and approved by June 30, 2025 to ensure compliance. Missing deadlines for compliance will impact a contractor’s ability to continue working with Valvoline.
