Founded in 1852, Ghirardelli is one of America’s most iconic chocolate brands. Known for its premium chocolates and baking products, Ghirardelli has built a reputation for quality and innovation.

Today, Ghirardelli operates its main manufacturing and distribution hub in San Leandro, California, while also maintaining corporate offices in Larkspur and a flagship retail and tourist experience at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco. Beyond its headquarters, Ghirardelli runs a nationwide network of Chocolate Shops & Soda Fountains in popular destinations like Chicago, Orlando, Las Vegas, and New York City.

What Ghirardelli Produces—and Suppliers They Work With

Ghirardelli produces a wide variety of chocolate and baking products, including individually wrapped squares and bars, baking chips and cocoa powders, premium hot cocoa mixes, as well as gift boxes and seasonal confections.

To keep its operations running smoothly and meet customer demand, Ghirardelli works with a wide range of business partners:

  • Maintenance and repair contractors for manufacturing equipment and facilities
  • Food-safe industrial cleaning services
  • Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing contractors
  • Construction and renovation firms

  • Safety and EHS consultants to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Transportation and logistics companies for warehousing and distribution

If your company provides services in any of these areas, now is the time to ensure you’re ready to meet Ghirardelli’s updated compliance expectations through ISNetworld.

How to Enroll in ISNetworld as a Contractor

If your company is not yet subscribed to ISNetworld, enrolling is a straightforward process, but it does require attention to detail. To begin, visit ISNetworld’s website and select the option to join as a contractor. You’ll be asked to provide your company’s basic information, including your legal name, tax ID number, contact details, and business classification. ISNetworld charges an annual subscription fee, which varies based on the size of your company, and payment is required to activate your account.

Once your account is active, you can log in and start completing your Company Profile, which includes submitting Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs, insurance certificates, OSHA logs, and any other documentation required by your clients. To ensure your account is visible to Ghirardelli, you’ll also need to link your profile to their company within the ISNetworld system.

Enrolling in ISNetworld not only qualifies your company to continue working with Ghirardelli, but it also opens the door to opportunities with hundreds of other clients who use ISN to manage their contractor networks. If you need guidance during the enrollment process, Cascade QMS is here to help every step of the way—from setting up your account to ensuring your documentation meets client-specific requirements.

What’s Required for an ISNetworld Grade

ISNetworld allows Ghirardelli to verify that contractors meet their high standards for safety, insurance, and operational reliability.

-Undergo a Desktop Review & Implementation Assessment of EHS programs (known as RAVS® in ISNetworld)
-Upload required documentation, such as insurance certificates, OSHA logs, and EMR data
